OK-Loza Open Joint-Stock Company is a legal successor of All-Soviet Union Research and Development Technological Institute of Bearing Industry (ZF VNIIP) (its Zagorsk branch) created on the basis of Special Technological Laboratory of the Glavpodshipnik Central Design Bureau Pilot Production Plant (LOZa) established in 1949. The Company specializes in the development, manufacture, modernizing, and research of precision instrument ball bearings and combined bearing assemblies.

Current team of designers, process engineers, and other specialists, high expertise of workers and modern high-precision process equipment allow resolving the most challenging problems of the development and manufacture of instrument bearings of both standard and special designs combining the components of bearings and bearing assemblies of special machinery articles and gyroscopic instruments.

Optimization of manufacturing processes, technical requirements for bearings and use of new materials for manufacture of bearings components and methods and equipment for testing the components and assembled bearings ensure their highest quality level being highly competitive with the foreign equivalents and meeting the most stringent user requirements.

Main activities

Manufacture of precision instrument bearings

Radial, radial-thrust with the inner diameter from 1 mm and outer diameter of up to 35 mm, two-row and three-row bearings, special bearings as per the technical specifications of the customers, made of double-melted bearing steel, corrosion-resistant and heat-resistant steels, and also nonmagnetic alloys

Manufacture of combined bearing assemblies

For navigation, guidance, and stabilization systems of different equipment which structure is integrated into the instrument assembly, with the use of especially pure bearing steel, corrosion-resistant steels, and nonmagnetic alloys

Manufacture of bearings for medical equipment

Bearings for dental air-turbine handpieces with the rotational speed of up to 400 thousand rpm, bearing units for artificial blood-circulation apparatus, self-lubricating bearings for X-ray tubes assemblies, and bearings with ceramic balls and cages made of various polymeric materials

Manufacture of other special bearings and components

Bearings of spindle assemblies for grinding and drilling machines, bearing units for diamonds cutting and polishing equipment, components of turbochargers for cars and tractors engines, and precision components of electronic banking devices

Manufacture of balls from 0.68 to 60 mm in diameter

Made of various bearing steels and alloys, non-ferrous metals, from titanium, heavy-duty ceramics, balls for precision assemblies of accuracy rating 5, free balls of all the accuracy ratings, and balls from hard alloys

Research and development activities
